Dry Eye – Part 4

Part 4 of our series on Dry Eye!

It’s not just an eye problem. Aqueous Deficient Dry Eye (ADDE) is rarer but caused by systemic disease or medication which impact lacrimal gland function. Auto-immune or thyroid conditions, as well as anti-histamines or diabetic medications, can be associated with dry eye. Hormonal changes can play a big role too.

This is what our optometrists look at all day long! Come in for your routine examination to find out more, phone 9888 6377 or book online here.
