27 years of Canterbury Eyecare!
Chris and Athena Katopodis opened our doors at 124 Maling Rd in April 1996 and became part of the Maling Road and Canterbury community. We were joined by Optometrist and business partner Genevieve Hastings in 2006.
Over the years the Canterbury Eyecare team has grown to 12 staff members including Optometrist Laura Carson in 2019 and familiar long term Optical Dispensers and Optical Assistants who provide outstanding service to often three generations of our early patient families.
We underwent significant renovations in 2014, expanding into 122 Maling Road and making room for two consultation rooms containing state of the art technology.
At Canterbury Eyecare we are passionate about helping you and your family enjoy a lifetime of clear vision. We thank our patients for their continued support over the years and are proud to have created such strong bonds with our longtime patients as well as continuing to welcome new ones!
