BHSc
After completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences, Pamela joined the Canterbury Eyecare team in 2017. She has an enthusiastic attitude to dispensing and enjoys contributing to frame selection and keeping up-to-date with the latest eyewear trends.
How did you start in optics?
I joined Canterbury Eyecare in 2017 after I completed my Bachelor of Health Science at Deakin University. I have always had a really strong interest in the health field, so being part of the team at Canterbury Eyecare has been extremely rewarding as I can combine my interest in health with my love for helping and interacting with others.
What is your favourite movie?
My favourite movie is My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I have watched it numerous times but will never get sick of it!
What sporting teams do you support?
I have been supporting the Collingwood football club all my life as I come from a very passionate and vocal Collingwood family!
What is something you don’t know about me?
I can speak Greek fluently and am currently studying Business at Swinburne.
What is your bucket list travel destination?
Coming from a Greek background, my number one bucket list travel destination would have to be Greece. In the next couple of years I would love to travel to Greece and explore the regions where my family grew up and to explore the islands.
Do you have any pets?
I have a 12 year old pet cat named Pebbles. Pebbles is black and white (my very own Collingwood mascot) and is named after ex-Collingwood player Anthony Rocca whose nickname was Pebbles.
With the recent social isolation measures, what have been your common “iso” activities?
Going for walks and baking!
